I had an opportunity to check out the new Legasea Seafood Brasserie, part of the Moxy Time Square experience, located just below Time Square on 7th avenue in New York City. After the Tribeca Film Festival wrapped, the CineVino team spent an evening at the charming restaurant where fresh, delicious seafood is presented in a fun, vibrant location.

I suggest Legasea for a welcoming escape from the sometimes chaotic though always exciting world of Time Square.The modern atmosphere allows for a clean, friendly environment with a nautical flare to it’s design. And Legasea is a place where the dishes are well presented and the servings are generous. Each dish that came out had an artistic sensibility to it and looked to be crafted with care. The menu at Legasea is priced very reasonable for fresh, sustainable seafood in New York City.

  • B.B. Rosé, Domaine Bertaud Belieu, Saint Tropez, comes from the French Riviera and pairs well with Legasea seafood.
